Ajith's Billa 2 unit ready for glitzy affair

The Billa 2 promotions will kick-start from July 2 with the latest trailer of the movie being launched in a grand manner in Chennai. The makers of the film have planned a glitzy function, which will be attended by the entire unit except Ajith Kumar.
The film's lead actress, Parvathy Omanakuttan confirmed the news on Twitter. She wrote, "On my way back to Mumbai but will be back in Chennai on 2nd for the Trailer launch and the rest of the crew will also be there!Looking fwd! "
Producer Aascar Ravichandran has also announced that they have been planning to have a function from a long time and finally now it is happening. However, it is not sure whether he will be part of the event or not.
Director Chakri Toleti, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal, Prabhu, Meenakshi Dixit and others will be gracing the occasion. However, it is no surprise that Ajith Kumar's absence from promotional events are not new, as the actor does not believe in promoting a film rather a good movie will get good publicity by itself.
Billa 2 is a gangster-thriller film starring sensational  Ajith, dazzling  Parvathy Omanakuttan and glamorous Bruna Abdullah. It is a sequel to Billa directed by Vishnuvardhan. The movie tells the story of the baddie David Billa, who was killed in the first installment.
