Salman khan "Jai Ho" review::ENTERTAINMENT

Rating:::  3.25
Review: There is nothing ordinary about this aam aadmi. He rips, roars and ravages the raavans with a single blow - like a Stallone on steroids. Jai (Salman) is an ex-Army officer, who runs a garage part-time and plays incredibly good (looking) Samaritan fulltime, beating up baddies to bloody pulp with anything from hockey sticks, chains, scaffolding and even a mighty pen. During one 'good-deed' demo, he's hit by a brainwave - a thought that can change the world! His funda seems profound but is simple. Goodness is redeemable. If someone shows you a random act of kindness, you pay it forward to three people. And they'll pass on the 'act of kindness' to three more each. A multiplier effect on millions - snowballing into a mass junta movement of goodness.

The film has the heart and the haath (read: fist) in the right place. But there's more than just 'do-gooder' drama in this potboiler with purpose. Jai gets embroiled with a nefarious neta, Dashrath Singh (Danny) and his heavy-weight hooligans, who're a 'pain in the rear' of the aam aadmi. It sparks a raging war between the udaas aam aadmi and khaas politicians.

Dabangg 2 is highest earning non-holiday film

Salman Khan seems to have done it again and will end 2012 with a bangg. The just-releasedDabangg 2, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha and directed by Salman's brother Arbaaz, looks set to be another blockbuster. Early figures place the film's opening day collections between Rs 20 and 21 crores. While this is at least Rs 10 crores below Ek Tha Tiger's bumper opening earnings of Rs 32 crores, it is significantly higher than 2010's blockbuster Dabangg which took in Rs 14.5 crores on day one.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted this morning: As per *early estimates* #Dabangg 2 Fri seems 20 cr to 21 cr nett. Biggest opener for non-holiday... Of course, the final total could vary.

Dabangg 2 1st day will be lower than #EkThaTiger 1st day [15 Aug holiday]. ETT Day 2 was much lower [14.55 cr], since it was a working day.

Released on December 21, Dabangg 2's figures make it the biggest non-holiday earner. Eka Tha Tiger released on August 15 and Agneepath, which held the opening day record before Ek Tha Tiger with Rs 22 crores, released on January 26. Before Dabangg 2, the highest opening figures for a non-holiday film were posted by Rowdy Rathore, starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, which took in Rs 15 crores.

Taran Adarsh tweeted: Biggest opener [holiday] #EkThaTiger 32.92 cr ... Biggest opener [non-holiday] #RowdyRathore 15.1 cr ... #Dabangg2 is non-holiday opener.

Ek Tha Tiger, which fetched over Rs 200 crores and is the second highest-earning Bollywood film after Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots, was Salman's fourth-in-a-row blockbuster after Bodyguard, Ready andDabangg, all of which earned Rs 100 crores plus.

'I'm not perfect': Arnold Schwarzenegger admits to multiple affairs:see4news

Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted he had multiple affairs during his doomed 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver, but said fathering a child with their housekeeper was the "stupidest" thing he did.

In a TV interview timed with the publication of his memoirs Monday, the former bodybuilder and Hollywood star told how Shriver confronted him about the child the day after he left office as California governor in January 2011.

He also admitted he had a habit of living "in denial" and keeping secrets, including not telling Shriver that he was going to run for governor until days before he announced it, and trying to conceal having heart surgery from her.

"That's the way I handle things. And it always has worked. But, I mean it does not -- it's not the best thing for people around me because I sometimes - some information I just keep to myself," he told the CBS show 60 Minutes.

"So I became an expert in living in denial," he said. Shriver filed for divorce in July last year citing "irreconcilable differences" with her husband, whom she met in 1977 and married in 1986, following him into the California governor's mansion in 2003.

Schwarzenegger had admitted in May 2011 that he had fathered a child, called Joseph and born in 1997, with the family's long-time housekeeper, Mildred Baena, and announced the couple's separation.

In the 60 Minutes interview, he said he realized when Joseph was about seven or eight that the boy resembled him physically, and while not discussing it openly, began giving his mother financial support. The housekeeper remained in their employment, and Joseph even played with the couple's children. But her suspicions grew and she finally confronted him the day after he left office, when they saw a marriage counselor.

Shriver asked him point blank: "Hey, I think that Joseph is your kid," to which he replied: "You're absolutely correct." She filed for divorced a few weeks later. "I think it was the stupidest thing I've done in the whole relationship. It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids," he said.

Baena was not the first time he had been unfaithful to Shriver, he acknowledged -- in the book he writes about a "hot affair" with actress Brigitte Nielsen while filming the 1985 film Red Sonja. Pressed in the CBS interview about other infidelities, he admitted: "I had others. But that's something that's between Maria and me," adding that Shriver knew about his behaviour. "I'm not perfect," he said.

Allegations of sexual misconduct and affairs have long dogged the Austrian-born actor turned politician, who returned to the big screen in The Expendables 2 this year, and has a number of other movies due for release.

In other comments Schwarzenegger, 65, told how Shriver "started shaking" when he told her he planned to run for California governor only days before his announcement in August 2003. "I was thinking that she would say 'Wow that is amazing, welcome to the club, we finally convinced you to be a public servant'," he said, referring to the storied Kennedy political dynasty, of which she was a member.

Her objections were only overcome after intervention from his mother-in-law Eunice Shriver, who warned her that Schwarzenegger would be angry at her if she prevented him from running. Schwarzenegger said Shriver had not read the book, called 'Total Recall' after the 1990 blockbuster. Asked what he thought Shriver's view would be, he said: "I think that Maria's wishing me well with everything that I do."

There was no immediate word comment from representatives for Shriver.

Prabhas Rebel Movie Review

Rebel Movie Review
THE BOTTOM LINE
Lawerence is never known for any innovation or intellect. He depends on pakka commercial elements to connect with the passes. He ended up with a mass entertainer with few glitches here and there..

Rating:
3.0/5
Actor Prabhas is back with another mass entertainer. His latest outing Rebel has created a lot of curiosity among viewers and it surely lives up to their expectations. Prabhas rocks the movie buffs with his style and action.
Rebel is a revenge action movie, which has all commercial elements. Prabhas' electrifying performance is the main attraction in it. Tamanna's glamour, Raghava's music, C Ram Prasad's camera work, stunning choreography of action and dance sequences, wonderful art direction, beautiful locations and costumes are its other highlights.
Raghava Lawrence has created a good screenplay for Rebel and has a good grip on its narration. But what upsets the viewers is that he has repeated several aspects from his movies like DonMass andKanchana. Its big disappointment is its length, which is about 2.50 hours. The director could have trimmed it.
The first half is a joy ride with Prabhas-Deeksha romance and Brahmandham comedy. The movie takes serious mode with Krishnam Raju getting killed at the interval bang. There are some stunning fights in the second half. Especially, the action in the climax is superb and a treat for action lovers.
Rishi (Prabhas) is a happy go lucky guy and is in love with an orphan girl Deepali (Deeksha Seth). He turns rebellious after his father, a mafia don Bhupathi (Krishnam Raju) is killed by his own brother (Mukesh Rushi) and Simhadri (Pradeep Rawat). In a bid to avenge, Rishi (Prabhas) comes to Hyderabad with Narasaraju (Brahmanandam) in search of Stephen and Roberts.
Then, he moves to Bangkok, where he woos a hip hop dance teacher Nandini (Tamanna) to get the information about Stephen and Roberts. What happens to Bhupathi and Deepali? Who are Stephen and Roberts? Why is he in search of them? Will Rishi succeed in his mission? The answers to these questions will form the rest of the story.
Rebel is the show of Prabhas, who has delivered a brilliant performance as a timid son, a sweet lover boy and a violent gangster. He rocks the viewers in action, dance, romance and sentimental sequences. As a dance teacher, Tamanna looks very glamorous and has displayed her dancing skills in Rebel. Deeksha Seth does not have much scope, but she has done justice to her role. As villains, Pradeep Rawat and Mukesh Rushi have done good job. Brahmanandam and Ali have a few good moments, but the director has failed to utilise them properly.
Raghava Lawrence's music is the main highlight in the technical front. The picturisation of the songs is beautiful. The choreography of fights and dance is excellent. The art direction, costume and makeup in different action and song sequences is superb. The dialogues are good. The editing could have been better. Marthand K Venkatesh should have trimmed several scenes in the second half.
Overall, Rebel is a pure commercial entertainer movie, which showcases Prabhas' heroism. It has its own share of drawbacks and a few illogical sequence, but they will not deter the viewers from enjoying the film. Don't miss it, if you are Prabhas fan.
Producer: J Bhaghawan, J Pulla Rao

Srimannarayana Movie Review,Balakrishna srimannarayana Review, telugu movie srimannarayana Rating,

Rating: 3/5
Banner: Yellow Flowers Banner

Cinematography: T.Surender Reddy
Art: Nagender
Editing: Goutham Raju
Music: Chakri
Producer: Ramesh Puppala
Story-Screenplay- Dialogues-Direction: Ravi Chavali
CBFC rating: A
Release date: 30-08-2012
Synopsis:
Kalki Narayana Murthy (Vijay Kumar) is a man of noble intention to serve the poor. His son Srimannarayana (Balakrishna) is an exact photocopy of his father. He is a journalist by profession. He bangs in to Swapnika (Parvati melton), a reporter from other channel who always competes with him in work. And later falls for Srimannarayana. Also there is Bhanumathi who is mardhalu of Srimannarayana. And on the serious note, a stir of events take Srimannarayana’s life by a storm and lands him in jail. And the rest of the story is all about how he ends evil and proves himself innocent.
Performances:
Bala Krishna looked pretty handsome in the role of Srimannarayana. Unlike his recent movies, his styling and costumes are good. He is at his usual best in acting and carried on tremendous energy in songs and fights. Fans will go mad with some of his dance steps.
Parvati Melton as Swapnika and Isha Chawla as Bhanumathi are good in the limited roles they are offered. They had added the required oomph factor to the movie. Suresh, Vinod Kumar Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Supreeth are good in the role of Antagonists. Rest all are okay in limited roles. Comedy track is neat.
Technical Performance:
There is no novelty in the Story of the movie, director Ravi Chawali follows a time-tested formula but made sure that there are ample commercial elements that satisfy the thrust of masses and fans. He projected Bala Krishna in the right way and extracted powerful mass performance. Screenplay of the movie is predictable which became an hindrance in the flow of the movie. Direction is good in parts.
Surrender Reddy’s cinematography technique is good. The songs composed by Chakri suited Balayya’s image but to normal audience, they might be a bit outdated.
Final Say:
The first half of the movie began on a slower note and picked pace from the pre interval scene and second half is good with ample mass elements required by Balayya fans. A slightly more gripping screenplay would have added weight to the movie. The movie goes well with fans especially Balayya’s looks and energy and it will be okay for normal audience. The box office success of the movie depends on how masses receive it.
