Bangalore: A journalist in Bangalore has been arrested for
suspected links with the Indian Mujahideen. The police are being tight
lipped about the arrest, but sources say the journalist worked with an
English daily.
This arrest comes even as four suspected Indian Mujahideen activists involved in the 2010 Chinnaswamy Stadium blast case were picked up from Hubli for questioning, police said.
Police sources the five arrests came after a tip off from the Uttar Pradesh police team which was in Bangalore yesterday.

They say the four men arrested from Hubli used the highly populated area
of the city in Northern Karnataka as hideout to conduct recces for
their operations. The police for now are still investigating the role
each of them played in the blast.
Sources also add that there could be more arrests in the Chinnaswamy stadium blast case, possibly from Bengal, again based on a tip off of the UP police.
