A Pawan Hans helicopter, with six people on board, made a crash-landing at Katra near Jammu today.
The pilot and two passengers have sustained varying degrees of injury, but are reported to be in a stable condition. All six have been evacuated.
The helicopter was flying pilgrims back to Katra from Vaishno Devi. Katra serves as the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
The crash reportedly occurred after the rear rotor of the helicopter broke down minutes before landing.
